This means that yahoo recommends that you use Internet Explorer browser version 4.0 or a later version.

To check your version launch internet explorer and click Help menu. Then About Internet explorer and see the version you are using. Version 4.0 is an old version so in my opinion you should already be meeting this requirement.

Literally, it just means that your web browser isn't up-to-date enough for their games. You don't HAVE to install Internet Explorer though, if you haven't already got it! Firefox will work perfectly well, and will continue to do so provided you keep it updated;

They've got version 7 available! You have to be running a legally owned, genuine version of IE to get it though.

Anyway, if you've got a Mac that won't apply to you, because Microsoft stopped releasing updates for IE for Mac several years ago - now it's useless! In this case, tell your Mac to search for updates, because I run Yahoo games on safari! I also use Firefox for Mac, and have no problems with that either..!
