No way. You can't get IE7 for linux or MAC for that matter. IE uses proprietary tech from MS, whereas Firefox is an open source project. Firefox/Opera had innovated (Gates favorite phrase) tabbed browsing before IE, plus the many other plug-ins, extensions available for Firefox. Active X has always been a security hole in IE, pray that it's better now.

A great site that I have use dfor some time now is 'Fusive Web' it's great but most importantly it's free with absolutely no cost involved. IE7 sucks. Literally. It sucks your system memory cache and it is programmed to load graphics before text instead of text before graphics like IE6. I had to reinstall Windows when I took out IE7 and tried to revert to IE6. One guy I talked to put it perfectly: Internet Explorer 7 has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and there is no cure.

You should probably check to see that you still have a recovery CD for windows before you try to take IE7 off. I was lucky. I was at my tech school when I discovered that IE7 can take your operating system out when it vacates the premises. Be sure that you can put Windows back on before you try to take IE 7 off.

some pages need a special plug in, like flash player or java... is it only a page, or any website?
Your cookie settings are too high. Some pages are rejected totally for this reason. Go to Tools, Internet Options, Security, and turn down the security setting to Medium / Medium High. Alot of sites / webpages require cookies to be transferred and you could argue this is a security risk but you wont see the pages unless you allow cookies.

Alternatively your firewall, anti-virus or antispyware programme(s) may be selecting which sites you can see. Refer to their settings to find out- some have a blacklist of websites which they will not access to protect you.

Finally, you may have some virus or trojan on your PC which is redirecting your PC from the intended webpages to bad sites when you click. In this case you're getting the warning message because the virus or trojan was originally released some time ago and the webpage it is trying to redirect you to is no longer maintained. Do a full scan for spyware, adware, viruses and trojans.

You can go back to Internet Explorer (IE6) just go to add and remove in your control panel and click on remove IE7 and the wizard will walk you through reinstalling IE6 I didn't like IE7 neither. I also use Mozilla Firefox as another web search engine. Hope this works for you!

Diesel. It has more heat in it than gasoline and so produces more power. It presently costs more than gas where I live, but going diesel is a long-term investment. The chassis will wear out before the engine will.
Diesel would have less maintenance and wear. (ie.pulgs ,wires)

Diesel works well with constant speed.
If pulling a load, lots of stop and go, living in hot weather, out what the heck just get the diesel it will last longer just make sure it is a cummins.
My Ram 2500 gets about 24 mpg on the hwy. Go for a cummins deisel. You can get 700,000 miles out of a properly maintained engine. The Hemi's SUCK GAS!!!

i personally like it on computers with 512mb+ of ram. if you have less don't install it, otherwise try it.
I've never had a problem with it, though the tabs feature I think is a pain. I disabled it and got on fine with it.
I dunno... I like it... I had one small problem with one site on my 64bit IE7, but the 32bit version seems to work flawlessly for me...

Yahoo IE runtime error?

Whenever I click on the link to go to Yahoo sports page, I get 'runtime error; Yahoo is undefined. I have to click 'no' about a dozen times before the page will load, and then it loads out of order, so to speak ( not correctly). Then I hit refresh and it loads fine. Then I'll click on a link in Yahoo sports, and get more runtimes errors, asking me if I want to debug. When I debug, it gets me nowhere. HELP!!!

If you're not going to be specific (when does it crash, how does it crash, why does it crash, have you updated or modified it, what version of Windows, what kind of Internet, what virus protection, etc), then I don't have a clue what your problem is, so here's some possibilities:

-Virus. A virus could infect your system and slow or crash your browser. Try running a virus scan. If you don't have a scanner, I recommend AVG Free, it's a good quality one that's free.

-Spyware. Not likely, but if you have an older computer that is usually slow, excessive spyware could render it unusable in no time. Run a spyware check using either the SpySweeper trial, AdAware Free, Spybot Search and Destroy, or numerous other programs.

I agree with rhs_tyler. Firefox works so much better. It hardly ever crashes. I quit using IE a year ago and never looked back.

As I'm sure numerous other ppl will have said, I would suspect them of either cheating or doing drugs. That said, if it's just over a short period of time, it's entirely possible he/she could be planning a surprise. Either way I would sit them down and try and find out what the situation was - if they still resist and say they 'cant remember' I would state that our monies would need to be separated, his, hers, household.

It could be watching you as you type sending keystrokes out. Check your processes and see that nothing is running in the background that shouldn't be.

It probably steals your user name, password information (credit card info, e-mails, IMs...). Sometimes it also record keystrokes. My IE settings doesn't have 'use a proxy' clicked but I am still using a proxy server

Under tools%26gt;options%26gt;connection%26gt;LAN, the 'use proxy server' is not clicked, but I have been told and checked and it confirms I am using a proxy. My AV is by Grisoft, I am not aware of a firewall, although believe one is set up, I am on dial up and my ISP is Wanadoo (UK).

The isp is prbably forcing everything through a proxy. It just intercepts everything on port 80 (nearly all web traffic). Irconically, the solution to this is... to use a proxy, lol. One that does *not* operate on port 80. Probably not 8080, either, it might intercept that port too. Can find a list of some here: http://tools.rosinstrument.com/proxy/ Find one opertating on a nicely random port, and hopefully it wont cause the same problem as you ips's is. If you just absolutely have to avoid any proxy whatsoever, the only other thing to do is get a new isp.
